"Like I stated in my title, Sham aren't the best band of their genre, but they are the most important. The first oi! band, Sham would change the shape of UK punk for a couple of years. Mixing punk, rock, and chant-along choruses, Sham 69 were extremely influential, giving birth to such bands as The Anti Nowhere League, UK Subs, Blitz, Cockney Rejects, and The Business. However, Sham's studio albums were uneven, making this "best of" a great buy. Despite a little filler ("Money" and "Tell the Children" for example), this manages to be one of my most played cds. Honestly, have you ever not sang along with "Hersham Boys" or "Borstal Breakout"?. All in all, a good collection of Oi! classics."
