The Summit Of The Disco Age

"This album's title song, Uptown Festival, a medley of oldies in a disco setting, represents the peak of the Disco Era. (One can just envision disco afficianado Bill O'Reilly whirling and twirling to it.) It contains pieces of so many songs that you invariably hear something new, each time you listen to it. My favorite part was the treatment of the old Isley hit, This Old Heart of Mine... but the rest is equally good. The other pieces on the CD are plain old disco, but they're not unpleasant. It's well worth owning this, to hear the title tune again and again."
