"OK, Whenever wherever/Suerte are exactly the English & Spanish album versions. Inevitable is also the album version from "¿Dónde están los ladrones?" (it would've been great to have the live English version of Inevitable, which is not available anywhere). But the one that makes this single a collector's item is the TV Edit of Whenever wherever. The music and the vocals are different from the original version, this is an acoustic approach in which the Andine instruments prevail... not as pop as the album version."

"Shakira's 1st debut single off her new english-language album "Laundry Service", which was an instant smash, it rocketed up to No. 3 on the Billboard Charts. It's 1st single lifted was the latin filled, booming dance track "Whenever, Wherever", finally released as a single, now! Although, now been out for over 14 weeks on the charts, sailing down from the thrown of the No. 1 spot, dropping, still staying in the Top 10, sticking at No. 7. With only 4 tracks on this import single, I'd have to say, I'm a little disappointed. There are many, I mean MANY remixes of this great song, and couldn't ya just put at least ONE on? C'mon! Instead, they slap on the album version, the spanish not-so-there translation "Suerte", A TV edit and "Inevitable" from her "¿Dónde están los ladrones?" album! My final overview of the tracks are here:1. Whenever, Wherever: My absolute favorite track. The song is full of danceable music, great lyrics, and it's just a great, great song! It's awesome! Absolutely Recommended!: 5 Stars2. Suerte- The Spanish version of "Whenever, Wherever". It sounds just as good as the original, but I personally like the English version a little bit more. It still sounds great, and still has that energy that makes a great song. = 5 Stars3. TV Edit- This is actually the "Whenever, Wherever" video edit. It's practically the same as track 1, and could've been replaced with a great remix of this track. = 4 Stars4. Inevitable- You've all probably heard this one before. And if you haven't, you should. It's from her "¿Dónde están los ladrones?" album, also featured on the MTV Unplugged CD. It's an ok track, I like this English live version better though.Bottom Line : Ok, not great, an alright effort by Shakira.Letter Grade : D+ (Mis-placed tracks ruin it, remixes are better placed for this single)"
