"Although this one-disc version of the best of Shakatak is not remastered, the sound quality is very good showing that it was mastered well to begin with. There is a 3-disc version out there that's been 32k-bit remastered and if it's anywhere close to what Polydor did with Level 42's 3-disc best of compilation, then the sound quality must be incredible. However, most if not all of their best work is already here on one disc and as the sound quality isn't bad at all, I'd recommend going for this one instead of spending much, much more on the 3-disc version which appears to me to be overkill anyway. All the great ones are already on this disc such as "Night Birds", "Invitations", "Streetwalking" and "Dark is the Night." If you like Shakatak and want to hear their best work without getting all their albums, this is the one to get. Their best one-disc compilation that's out there. Good sound quality, good track selections and great value. Recommended."
NICE OVERVIEW...but

"Great song selection, but too many of the best songs are the "edited" or "single" versions on here.
We get the edited version of "Nightbirds" and "Easier said than done"??
WHAT?
Their best songs should be in their FULL long versions....no exceptions.
