Largely ignored - anything but Apache

(4 out of 5 stars)
"This package consisting of two albums Specs Appeal and Tasty from 1975 and 1977 is a brilliant showcase of the multifaceted talent of the Shadows when they were at their best, i.e. post-Apache, post-Cliff, and right after super harmony folky style group Marvin, Welch and Farrar and pre- second instrumental let's-copy-current-hits-shadows-style period. So many styles played tastefully and technically great. Would have had 5 stars from me, if it wasn't for the awful No, No, Nina. You want these two albums together with Rocking With Curly Leads, Live At The Paris Olympia, Marvin, Welch and Farrar/Second Opinion (package), Hank Marvin And John Farrar. Enjoy"
