"After having listened regularly for the last couple of years to "Twang - A Tribute to the Shadows", I decided to take a chance and pick up this tribute CD as well. Not being all that familiar w/ the original recordings, I can only make an educated guess when I say this one is probably closer to the original Shadows material; but it's definitely not the one to get. Pick up Twang instead. It's really a masterpiece of guitar instrumentals, while this "Man of Mystery" tribute is simply a competent outing of background music. Lots of nice playing, but nothing that really lights up a fireplace."
