"I like the rock-outs, Peepshow! and Phase Out the Boy, I like the midieval-sounding Harpers and Queens, I love the tragic Saracens and Harlequins, I love the sublime Death and the Soldier, I love the astute lyrics in Python Dance, I love the scary Janus Head, and I love the almost confessional Imaginary Friends. The other songs don't really grab me, and I wouldn't thrust Veil upon a Sex Gang newcomer, but I think the album will appeal to those who have enjoyed Blind, Arco Valley, and Medea, and want to find out what other surprises Andi has given us."
