"Verging upon self-parody, Gainsbourg was still willing to push the envelope at this live performance covering many of his classics. The band is extremely tight and his backup singers a pure sonic delight. There is the ocassional rough patch, but the "nicotine-stained bard" plumbs the depths of his soul to smooth things out eventually achieving an exciting aural climax."
A super-cool set . . .

""Salut les petit gars .... les pisseuses."
This is a super-fun, super-cool concert recorded towards the end of Gainesbourg's career, delivered with panache and don't-give-a-f@#% attitude from Serge. The band is top-notch as noted below. I especially love "Harleydavidsonofabitch." It's got a great electronic drum interlude that involves some VERY nasty moaning sounds. Absolutely hilarious. There's some great back-up singers who do the actual singing. Serge brings the style and sensibility."
