CD ReviewsSeconds Yeah Yeah Yeah 07/27/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Hey the Seconds are great they're my favorite of all the "new" new wave/garage rock/post-punk and NYC bands. They're no flash in the pan, they have great energy, great guitar, voice, drums, bass, and songwriting. Some of the music sounds like Talking Heads, Gang of Four, Pylon, Josef K, even a little Shellac, but original and not derivative--they don't really sound like this, just in the same vein, they sound like the Seconds, which is a very good thing. Very talented, tasteful, and high energy. I wonder why they're not more famous than they are, this is a great CD to buy."
