Lost Country Rock Album

"Apparently, the country rock band Seconds Flat recorded this one self-titled album and haven't been heard from since (at least not on CD). That's a shame, because their one album reveals a group with songwriting talent and some decent chops. Though the production is a tad on the slick side, songs like the amusing love-gone-wrong tale "Three O'Clock," "Fire and Brimstone," "Trapped Between the Lines," and the closing "Saluda" make quite an impression. The rest of the material is not quite as memorable, but there is not a clunker in the mix.Overall, an overlooked country rock album from a band that has since pulled an unfortunate disappearing act."
