They Followed it with the Sonny Bono Penned "Needles and Pins" and "Don't Throw Your Love Away", and Thus Began their Incredible String of Hits. "Sugar and Spice" Had Been Written by Tony Hatch (Writer of Many of Petula Clark's Great Hits, under the Pseudonym Fred Nightingale) and Only Hit #2. Things Broke Wide Open in the USA for them with the Release of "Love Potion #9". Here is an Excellent Overview of their Recorded Legacy, Optimized for Superior Sound.
