Album Description"Smith is that rare bird of a guitarist who keeps things melodic enough for the novice and just unpredictable enough for the seasoned progressive folk fan. He keeps things moving at such a human pace that, like a good novel, it's impossible not to try and fit another chapter in before going to bed." - ALL MUSIC GUIDE Solo guitarist Sean Smith's second album is an exploration of his unique voice on the instrument. Born in quaint Pacific Grove, CA, the surrounding areas of the Pacific Coast Highway are where Smith found his first influence to create musical landscapes that leave the average listener speechless. He chooses to let his acoustic guitar do the talking - and speak it does, in a complex manner and with psychedelic leanings not unlike the great, eccentric John Fahey. Since the 2005 release of his debut self-titled disc, Smith has played frequently to growing audiences in the San Francisco area, sharing stages with Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Six Organs of Admittance, Harris Newman, Penelope Houston, Jack Rose, Marissa Nadler, Bart Davenport, and Matt Valentine in addition to touring with famed Cul De Sac guitarist Glenn Jones.
