"This album defines beauty. An integral part of the slowcore/minimalist movement of the 90s. "Bunch" by itself pays for the cost of the album. Every plucked guitar note has a purpose and every drum fill has a direction. The musical tapestry that Sooyoung Park and co. create is absolutely breathtaking. There's absolutely no filler track in the entire album! I just wish they'd play Kenya someday..."
Take me someplace I've never been to...

"Never has a single album moved me the way this one did. Perhaps I am a tad late to have realized it, but the Problem With Me is eternal. Nothing can or ever will match the pure emotions that it captures. I remember the first time I ever listened to this cd. I found it at a local used record store for two dollars and didn't think much of it. Perhaps it was the marbles that compelled me. I went home that night and listened to a bunch of other insignificant cds until coming upon this one. It was late, 12:00 pm, and I was tired, but determined to finish what I had started. So I popped in the cd and layed in bed, in the dark, not knowing what to expect. After listening to the first song I thought the music was kind of spacy and atmospheric to listen to the whole thing, yet something kept me from skipping songs. As the songs passed by I knew that my ears had met something never heard before, but not then did I realize what I had come across. It took until the end of Autopilot to realize what made me feel warm and fuzzy inside: Seam- the Problem With Me. What makes this album so special is how Sooyoung's math riffs build. The only other bands I could compare this phenominon to is Bedhead and Slint(patience rewards the ear). Every song has a build up to a point were the "flood walls break" and everything comes together beneath the chilling distorted guitar of Sooyoung Park. Rafael, Road To Madrid, and Sweet Pea have a longer building up and a breathetaking finish indescribable by my mere words. My personal favorite track is the opener Rafael that any shy person in love can relate to. I sometimes wonder why Seam is so shrouded and unheard of by the world, yet that is what makes discovering this masterpiece so special. It is a personal journey."

"There are several moments in this album that still give me chills. A little emo, a little shoegazer, a little slo-core. All emotion and very powerful. My favorite indie rock record of the 90's. No, my favorite indie album ever."

"i got this cd off a friend of a friend, i hadn't even heard of the band, but the album came highly recomended.the beauty of this album lies in it's lack of pretention - seam effortlessly blend the skewed dynamics of slint with the noise of my bloody valentine, but do so with only a slight debt to either band.relying on great songwriting that never does more than it has to bring together a coherent album, definitely seam's finest hour."

"Every song is great. Drums are fantastic. Sooyoung whispering or screaming sounds great, and many fine melodies on this album."
