CD ReviewsAnother solid effort by multi-talented artist Audie Murphy | Muncie, IN | 02/09/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This guy is a top-notch singer, writer, and player. A true triple threat in the Christian music industry. "Gentle Revolution", the follow-up to his piano-driven release "It Goes Like This" finds Scott showing yet another side to his many talents. The songs seem to have more of a rock edge and less of a "stripped-down" feel than his previous release. There are 10 songs (not 8 as is currently listed by Amazon--"I Am Jesus" and "Renee" are separate songs as is "In The Name Of God" and "Alive Again") on this disc and the songwriting here is incredible. "In The Name Of God" is a haunting, emotionally-stirring ballad that will grip you. The title cut about a compassione, loving Savior and "Renee" are obvious radio hits for Scott. A couple of upbeat, more personal tunes that are also highlights here are "Alive Again" and "Lyin". This is another enjoyable listening experience from a terrific Christian artist. I hope the great music keeps coming for a long, long time."
