Different, but not necessarily good

"Just got this. Wrote down some observations.1)This cd has a serious lack of bass, it's like someone forgot to put the bottom end on.
2)No liner notes, not even in KoreanThe Lovedrive tracks are cleaner and less muddy then the railroad tracks remaster, but not as loud or vibrant, not to mention noise is present on most of em.I'm not sure if the whole album is remixed or just remastered. You can hear some new things with the guitars and all, the drums have been cut down a lot, on some songs the backing vox were played around with(mainly just cut out), but it's all at the expense of the bass and sound quality. If you want sound quality, the Railroad remasters are tons better. Those are the import remasters.Hurricane 2000 starts off with some cool symphony stuff, but it has weak, sharp drums, and is slower overall.Big City Nights 2000 has some vocalist that is not Klaus Meine. The guitars are more distorted and thinner for both versions.Still Loving You 2000 is acoustic and has a more gothic feel, almost like King Diamond or something. It's slower, and has some symphony stuff too.The Lovedrive title track is cleaner, and considerably less muddy then the Railroad remaster, and doesn't suffer from as much bass loss as other tracks. Maybe they used the Rockers N Ballads remix. Holiday also has the same qualities as the Lovedrive title track, and again, I'm not sure if it's the Rockers N Ballads remix.Everything on here has a digitally harsh quality to it also, and it's very obvious. I'd say the overall sound quality is very demoish. These aren't true demos though. Big City Nights sounds interesting. The sound is more spread out, sloppy, and there's noise, but you can hear some cool stuff with the guitars.Still Loving You is probably the most changed regular song. It's a different mix, I'm pretty sure of that. It's cleaner, not a lot of bass, and has some cool sounds.Under the Same Sun is as loud as everything else, but suffers from the same problems in the sound quality. Wind of Change doesn't sound much better or worse then the 20th Century Masters version.White Dove sounds about the same as on the Live Bites cd.Don't have an original version of Moment of Glory, but this one is loud and full, but digitally harsh. The live Can't Live Without You has some digital slur. Sounds like an mp3. The other two live tracks have similar sound problems, and all come from World Wide Live. There's really nothing else to say about this. I don't feel that the differences are anything special, and the sound quality really is subpar. If you want sound quality, get the Import remasters."

"Remember KISS' Double Platinum? (where most (or all) songs were edits or remixes?). Well, this is Scorpions' own Double Platinum. This album is full of edited and alternative mixes of Scorpions' hits. If you love "Still Loving You" this is the album for you! It has three different versions!! On a side note, if you're a collector and own most, or all, of their discography, get this album anyway! You'll find different sounds and even different words on the lyrics, like on "Believe in Love" and the "a little bit longer" version of "Is There Anybody There"."
