"I am not familiar with this violinist and was pleasantly surprised by her playing. Her style seems perfectly suited to Schubert's classical/romantic melodicism: her tone has a very "sweet" quality-- without crossing the line into schmaltz-- and her articulation on the technical passages (in the Fantasy, for example) is excellent. This is now my favorite recording of the Fantasy, and I look forward to hearing other recordings of Ms. Anthony's. This is yet another great recording-- and great value-- off of the budget Naxos label."

"I'm a bit hesitant about writing a review about this CD. While I love classical music, I have to admit that I know too little about it to discuss it at a technical level. Yet I feel I have to write this to do justice to this wonderful CD, by young Australian violinist Adele Anthony. I have heard this CD for hours and hours, specially as background music while I'm working at the computer. Her tone has a very sweet quality and I look forward to hearing other recordings from her. This is another great CD from the Naxos label."
