Previously revered as an A-list jazz chanteuse, Dobson has completed a transformation from the smoky ballads of her past to emerge a fully-realized modern singer/songwriter with a raw, visceral sound all her own. Between her longstanding association with Norah Jones and the high regard in which she's held in the NYC music community, Dobson is poised for a 2013 breakout on the strength of Aquarius.
