Sarana VerLin's new solo CD, Bats & Butterflies, creates an original blend of Celtic and Americana-style music she likes to call Celticana combined with a bit of rock, pop, and folk that crosses genres and transcends generations. Sarana handles the lead vocals along with violin, acoustic guitar and synthesizer. She is accompanied by UK musician JJ Quick playing electric upright bass, mandolin, mandola and acoustic guitar and Billy Brandt playing guitar and mandolin. VerLin explores musical landscapes from Celtic fiddle tunes to modern folk rock.
