"Her american CD is basicly a compilation of her biggest hits from Germany/England ect... Except its missing her best song and her first #1, "From Sarah With Love" is strangely absent.

1. Bounce-10/10, Everybody has heard it. Never gets old. Her biggest hit in the US. Honestly a Good song. Super Catchy will have you dancing.

"Bounce baby out the door, i ain't gonna take this no more"

2. French Kissing-9.8/10, A good sultry and sexy song. She sounds so hott when she sings this song. Her voice is so sexual in this song she even gives her classic power vocal at the end. GREAT

"give it baby give it in the car, take it baby take it wherever you are"

3. Lets Get Back To Bed - Boy!-7.5/10, Not bad just not may favorite from this CD. She has her voice digitalized in it but it sounds good.

"April til' November i will kiss you tender"

4. Skin On Skin-10/10, A classic Sarah Connor ballad, starts off sweet and whispery but in the end she power vocalizes it. She sounds great and does that awesome Power Grunt thing in her voice which i love! especially with her. One of the best songs on the album.

"This Game Is To Play Dont You That Its Time And You See That My Hearts Gotta Know When Your Gonna Be Mine"

[I love when she grunts the know part]

5. One Nite Stand (Of Wolves And Sheep)-10/10, Laughable in parts but awesome the chorus is awesome she says it so fast im surprised taht i could understand her. About a guy that she wanted as a friend that turned into a One Nite Stand. Hilarious last line "Ladies if you must have it make sure he wears a profilatic"

"Don't Feel Sad, Bad, Mad Cuz' I Too been through the rain and i can feel your pain, Momma said there'd be days like these and im telling you ladies look out for the wolves that dress like sheep"

6. He's Unbelieveable-8/10, A good song. But not as good as some other songs on this cd.

"Should I Dress In High heels should i go out in my blue jeans"

7. Music Is The Key-10/10, Reminds me a lot of One Sweet Day by Mariah and Boys II Men. Is a duet with her husbands band Natural 7. Very uplifting and great!

"Whenever your falling down, Hopeless and pushed around, Find Your Own Melody, Trust me that Music Is The Key"

8. Love Is Color-Blind-9/10, Good song proving you dont have to be the same nationality to be in love.

"It don't matter if your black, white or yellow, if yer brown or red, Lets get down to that love is colorblind"

9. I'm Gonna Find You-10/10, Another Sarah ballad. But a great song at that. Probably my favorite song on the CD.

"I Know I'm Gonna Find you, The Day i Come You'll Open Up The Door"

10. In My House-6/10, To much dance pop

"I'll be your sugar in the morning and that sweet stuff you need at night"

11. Turn Off The Lights-8/10, One of the sluttiest songs I've ever heard...I LOVE IT! A little to jazzy though

"Turn off the lights and close the door this is the night we've been wating for"

over all 2 thumbs up, This is a great CD."
So So

"Well, Sarah Connor's been very successful over here in Germany where she's #1 at the moment (03/12/04) with her brand new single release "Just one last dance" featuring her boyfriend's band Natural. It's her 3rd #1 single here. But let's come to this cd. Here she's released 3 albums which are combined in teh what is now called "Sarah Connor" US release (btw, the cover's from her 2001 debut "Green Eyed Soul").
Unfortunately her record company only included 11 tracks - and some of her best are missing!
Bounce: The Top 20 hit in germany last summer. 2nd Best song off her 2002 "Unbelievable" album. Sounds like any other typical RnB song from the US but since she's GErman her style is somehow unique over here.
French Kissing. Second single off "Green Eyed Soul" and least successful one. In my opinion one of her best tracks. Sexy voice and the "No Diggity" sample makes this one perfect!
Let#s get back to bed...boy!: Her breakthrough hit in 2001. Hit #2 and went gold (over 350.000 copies sold). Nice, laid back tune which features TQ, an RnB singer signed to Cash Money Records.
Skin on Skin: Top 5 hit in winter 2002. Some say this is just a copy of her 2001 smash #1 "From Sarah with love", which is MISSING HERE! Still Sarah's vocal range becomes clear here. Good song though the weakest of her ballads.
One nite stand: My favorite Sarah Connor song. From the "Unbelievable" album as well it features Wyclef and is a hot club track. Went #5 in fall 2002
he's unbelievable: Though another Top 20 hit for her in Germany, it's where the album has its first real downfall. Very laid back and without any highlights.
Music is the key: Very good ballad. After "From Sarah with love" my favorite ballad of her. Sounds like Mariah and Boyz II Men with "One sweet day". Hit #1 in GErmany last November
Love is colorblind: Well this is the worst song she's ever made. Good message but just plain boring! Included on her 2003 "Key to my soul" release.
I'm gonna find you: A very good track from her latest release as well. Very sultry, sexy and powerful.
Turn off the lights: Jazzy, laid back. Also taken from "Key to my soul" and a perfect ending for this cd.
So I like Sarah a lot BUT the problem here is a) only 11 songs and b) Missing hits as I said. Where's her platinum + selling "From Sarah with love" or current #1 "Just one last dance??" And instead of "Love is colorblind" they should've included some hot stuff from "Green Eyed soul" like "Magic ride", "Every little thing" or "in my house" or "Teach you tonite", "That girl" and "Where did you sleep last night" off "Unbelievable".
If you really like Bounce and think you might like Sarah's music in general, go and buy "Green Eyed Soul" (most club RnB tracks), "Unbelievable" (most laid back tracks) and "Key to my soul" (most personal, mainly ballads) instead on import. If you don't have the money buy this one. It's still better than what comes from your average RnB/pop singer. Plus Sarah's got the voice!"
Half Soul-Half Filler

"It should be obvious to American buyers by now that any r&b/pop cd with a slew of guest appearances cannot be that good, which is unfortunate, because Sarah Connor is a talented young woman. This is obvious when looking at the success she has had overseas. What happens to Sarah Connor is what happens to many r&b sex kittens- THE CURSE OF THE FILLER MATERIAL! Okay, so that's a little drastic, but the filler songs on this album cannot and do not co-exist with the six unique and brilliant songs on the album. That may be a matter of personal opinion, but I am an avid r&b listener and know filler material when I hear it. Case in point: 'Music is the Key' and 'Love is Color Blind.' Both tracks could have and should have been bold social statements about race relations and arts being taken out of educational and recreational settings. What results is the stigma that many such ballads face- the cheese factor. Sarah drones on and on and on about what mama said and how music wipes the tears the away: the same old junk that Mariah, Janet, and Whitney have done, and done much better. Of course, the album does have its bright spots. 'Skin on Skin' is a gorgeous track whose melodic and sensual melody meshes very well with Miss Connor's sultry vocals. 'Bounce', although a nice dance tune, does sound dated, stated for the simple fact that it sounds like a discarded Destiny's Child tune. Of course the song 'French Kissing' is the obligatory r&b make-out tune, but for Sarah it works quite well. Much of the material is contrived and somewhat bland, luckily Sarah Connor's wide vocal range keeps the album afloat and saves it from being placed in my cd rack to permanently collect dust. I may not be a psychic, but if Sarah Connor wants huge stateside success, she has to ditch the truckload of songwriters that plague the album, ban TQ from appearing on any future tracks( trust me-I don't know who this guy is, but he has got to go) and find her own green eyed soul. Unfortunately it isn't here. What happened here was this: previous tracks from Connor's other albums were thrown on here (which accounts for some of the dated material), guest appearances went on overload, and a production team was assembled to transform a talented woman into a popstar. A popstar Sarah Connor isn't. She has the potential to become something the American Industry lacks-actual vocal talent. But believe me, if she continues to have her PRODUCERS make music like this, she will be found in the nearest bargain bin."
