2012 release, the fifth solo album from the singer/songwriter best known for her work with The Rentals. Sara Radle's music career began in the late '90's, and has covered a path that has included fronting the Punk/Pop band Lucy Loves Schroeder, re-forming The Rentals with ex-Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, and releasing a handful of solo albums. With Same Sun Shines, the Los Angeles-based songstress shows that she is not slowing down anytime soon. Sara played all of the instruments, and engineered and mixed the entire record herself. Listening to the collection of 10 infectious Indie Pop tunes, it makes you wonder how one person was able to create something that sounds like a full room of musicians playing together. The record showcases her trademark catchy melody lines, lush harmonies, driving rhythms, and even a duet with singer/songwriter Mary Lou Lord.
