"I feel privileged to re-discover this powerfully voiced Italian songstress after reaching the dizzy heights of no.2 here in the U.K charts in 1987 with the summer anthem "Call Me" and then seemingly vanishing without a trace. It's like being let in on a well kept secret that the Italians must have been enjoying throughout the prevailing years. Not being familiar with the language myself i refused to let this be an obstacle and on first listen realised that it really doesn't matter; good music and good songs are recognisable in any language and on this CD we have 13 good, no, GREAT songs! Her voice is the strong point here, she slips almost effortlessly from emotionally charged balled to uplifting dance and not once does the production standard faulter. There's a very "european" flavour to the song formats particularly evident on "Con Il Tuo Nome"; beautifully anthemic, and on "Acqua"; a medieval anthem. "Anche Un Momento" nearly made me hold my breath throughout it's duration; absolutely stunning! There really is not one disappoiting song here, i loved every minute of it, however, she seems destined to remain an Italian secret, the U.K music industry has a bigoted opinion of anything in a foreign language, all i can say is that a lot of people are missing out, thank God i'm not one of them!"

"Spagna's Latest CD is wonderful. Her mix of dance and beautiful love songs makes a good combination. The leading track on the CD is, "Gloria". This is not a cover of the Tozzi (also by Laura Branigan) tune from the early 80's. This song has an effectively bouncy beat. "Con Il Tuo Nome" is hauntingly beautiful. It's my personal favorite on the CD. Songs like, "Messages of Love" leave me waking up at night with the song in my head. A very catchy song. Ivana Spagna even performs a rendition od, "Claire de Lune". If you have enjoyed Spagna's CD's in the past, then you won't want to miss this one. If you don't understand the Italian language, this CD should not put you off -- the music is wonderful!"
