"This is an admirable compilation but it is not a real greatest hits package. Actually, Ten On One highlights the most popular tracks from Sandra's Long Play and Mirrors albums (1985 & 1986). There are two new tracks (for the time it was released in 1987): A re-make of the 60's uptempo love-pop classic Everlasting Love and a European t.v. detective show (Salu Palu) theme Stop For A Minute. It is the American mirror version of Ten On One titled Everlasting Love that contains alternate tracks from her third album Into A Secret Land (1988) in place of some of the Mirrors album tracks. Unfortunately, this U.S. version of the compilation is currently out of print. If you can find it, it has a white background with the same center photo of Sandra. In a circular written design is the title Everlasting Love printed.This is the one to get !As for the music itself, it can only be described as sophisticated,electronic dance pop of the mid 80's.Synthesizers are used to produce some very intriguing and melodious material that will hook and entice the listener. Influences range from dance, R & B, to disco and pop-rock. Vocally, she's been compared to everyone from Madonna to Paula Abdul. The only difference is that Sandra's voice has a very natural and distinct sensuality to it.On some songs she sounds like a light and airy songstress while on others a seductive breathy femme fatale. despite her European background, all songs are sung in English (perfect ?) with only a slight French-German accent(more German). Otherwise, she could pass for a female American or British music pop artist. Afterall, she would later accompany her husband Michael Cretu on the Enigma project..."

"This album was her first greatest hits of singles to be released after her first two albums.This contains the classic "maria magalena" and "loreen" which was about her friend who didn't pass through goods the meaning of this song is if you has the blues tomorrow will be a brighter day.There is even a track she had recorded for a film "Stop for a minute" there was a track which talks about her visit to Venice"Little girl"that was during the winter 1985.Close to seven she had released in 1992 which contains "Don't be aggressive"and other tracks like"Way to India","When the rain doesn't come"but there are other tracks which i like as"No taboo" and "Steady me" the erotic blues song but there is a very romantic track "Mirrored in your eyes" there a track called "Shadows" goes on about nightmares.Return back to Ten on one can get it Vhs video if some out there is interested.Sandra done even a cover version of "Nights in white satin" of the album fading shades which was released in 1995.All of sandra's albums you can find it on virgin records if any out there would like to contact me by e-mail thridmillenium@libero.it"
