"This album is more music-oriented than her previous critically-acclaimed "Without You I'm Nothing." The present album will surprise those who think that Bernhard's only claim to fame is through Scorsese's "King of Comedy" or by being gal pal to the Material Girl. Bernhard has a beautifully trilling soprano that gets to the upper registers without effort -- something Madonna should aspire for. Her take of Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" was lovingly sung as was her homage to Laura Nyro ("The Woman I Could Have Been"). She gets to groove deliciously in "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" and does a Hendrix ("Manic Superstar") by juxtaposing Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Everything is Alright." I had fun with this album because of its musicality and her lovely voice that is as luscious as her full lips."
A nice surprise!!!!

"Who would've thought Ms. Bernhard can nail some notes! Dare I say even better than madonna!!?
this is by far a great album and her rendition of the rolling stones' sympathy for the devil is classic!
