"This is one of the most sonically interesting offerings from a singer-songwriter I've heard in a long time--it's way more interesting than your standard acoustic-guitar offerings, and Ms. Crain has a truly unique lyrical voice, a real literary innovator. You won't be disappointed."

"I hate country and I just have a mild interest in folk. Having said that I can't praise Samantha Crain's work enough. I never heard of her until I saw her open up on the pier in Santa Monica in the summer of 2008. What I saw was a very young and humble Samantha trio performing uncommonly well. Her voice resonated so soothingly it conveyed proficiency only found in seasoned vocalists. Her own guitar accompaniment was very effective and delivered so relaxed with no signs of strain. It kind of made me long again for singer/songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon. I'm expecting bigger things from this artist so keep your eyes and ears open for her."
