This one is defintely worth your money. Sam Carr is the anchor and the driver on this sparkling Delta blues record, keeping time like a German train conductor. Carr has a fine vocalist and guitarist in the lightly-recorded Andrew Turner. There's enough shuffle and drone here that you can close your eyes and pretend you are, as the title suggests, "Down in the Delta.""
