CD Reviews
The most best song ever

"This song is absolutely mesmerizing. The haunting vocals of Maire Brennan just add to this masterpiece. It reminds me of my other favorite Chicane song "Lost You Somewhere" as they both have beautiful female vocals. As said below it can get a bit annoying at times but if you leave it there without listening to it for a day or two you can`t wait to hear it again. You should definately buy this song and if you see the 12" anywhere you should pick that up as the Tomski vs Disco Citizens mix is not on the CD and is too good to miss out on."

"Inspired by the reviews I read here, I went ahead and acquired Chicane's 1999 hit single, Saltwater. All 3 mixes proved to be refreshing listening after listening to the likes of Alice Deejay/ATB. Chicane's musical abilities shine in Mix # 2, a good example of an excellent mix of an already excellent song (Theme from Harry's game). I await similar mixes of Enya's music....Chicane/Ferry Corsten/ATB....are you listening????"

"I've been a fan of Chicane ever since I heard offshore. Saltwater is one of my favourite songs from last year. I love the Vocals of Marie Brennan (with samples from Clanads Harry's Theme). The beat picks up and slows down through out the whole song. It's just awesome. We do a radio show in Tampa, Florida, and I rememeber when we first played this track, the phones went red hot. We get requests for this song all the time now."

"I was already a fan of previous Chicane releases, Offshore!!, and this one has been added to my list.It has a resounding melody that all the best trance hits this year have featured. And the haunting vocals by Maire Brennan are excellent in adding to the songs atmosphere. The song becomes a bit annoying after a lot of listening, but then you put it away for a while and soon you can't wait to hear it again. All trance fans must have this!"
