I was skeptical at first but once I played the CD I was taken aback by the quality of the sound and the songs. Incredible salsa and "sones" from the heart of Cuba. Yuri Buenaventura (from Venezuela living in France) starts with "Salsa", incredible pace and sensual beats. Sierra Maestra continues to amaze me with their lyrics and exquisite execution of "Mi Música Es Tu Música". The third song that knocked my socks off was "El Guayabero", a great modern rendering of different "guarachas" from Benny Moré.
