A rare live document of a kick ass piece of classic doom

"any good rock band has to really be able to prove themselves as a great live band, and this blast from the past definitely does just that. Saint Vitus was a classic doom band, sure, but to me they were just a great "rock" band plain & simple. Southern Lord records does a great job here and gets my praise for choosing to re-issue this live album that has probably been out of print for at least a decade now. recorded during their Mournful Cries European tour, they do great versions of songs from their first album, all the way up to M.C. probably one of the only official live records from one of the most under-rated bands out there, this show is truly a rare snapshot in time featuring the great Wino. after this tour, they did one last album with him, the almighty "V". after that album, he left Vitus to reform his old band, The Obsessed."
Heavy stuff live. oh ya

"I never got to see Saint Vitus live, back in the day but now I have a great collection of live Saint Vitus with this album. If you were into Saint Vitus at all get this album is what I have to say. Most live albums never live up to the polished studio tracks. But it's cool to hear Wino live like this and Dave Chandler is a guitar guru. This album has this energy and the band sounded great. For a live album I have to award it five stars. It's very heavy stuff, yaaaaaaa."
