CD ReviewsA+ Fab Coverage! Pocha Dot | Los Angeles | 06/17/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "The band is developing, Yes they are. Hotnights really did their thing, I can't get enough. This is some well arranged coverage. So much justice is done to the Foo Fighter's song "Big Me". The Foo Fighter's version is dull and forgettable in comparison. They really showed their talent this time around, I'm impressed. I can't wait to hear what else is in store, Anyone can tell from the last couple of releases we're in for something hot the next time around. It seems with each new album Andersson's Vocals get better and better. I was also surprised at some of the song choices that came up with "Dusty Springfield- In Private" and "Janet Jackson's Love Will Never Do" were covered by them, I couldn't believe it. Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do" IS NOT a good cover, They should have chosen something else, I don't think "love Will Never Do" sounds right transformed into a Pop/Rock song, It just DOES NOT fit that way, Other than that everything else turned out FABULOUS. What's such a big deal about this release is that they're not just singing songs of other artists, They actually made each and every one their very own. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS RELEASE. If you're a Sahara Hotnights fan this is a must have. I can't wait for the next full-length studio album of their own songs, It has to be big."
