"Listen up everybody, this isn't the Sacrilege from Birmingham UK that released "Within the Prophecy" and "Behind the Realms of Madness" during the 80's. This Sacrilege is a Gothenburg band featuring Daniel Svensson who is currently with In Flames. Now that that's clear, "Lost In The Beauty You Slay"('96) and "The Fifth Season"('97) are two of the best Gothenburg albums you'll find. But chances are you won't come across the original copies unless you're ready for a real hunt. That's okay, you can now own both albums on a single disc for the price of one. Great deal if you ask me. Fans of early In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, and Eucharist, will find alot to like here. The guitar work is more reminiscent of In Flames during "The Jester Race" era than anything else. Vocally, you'll find a nice mix of deeper vocals and higher-pitched rasps on the first album, as both Andersson and Svensson combine to create the haunting vocals on "LITBYS." On the second album, "The Fifth Season," Svensson handles all the vocals, and alone, his rasp can become rather tiresome. But all in all, both albums are excellent. I strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of music."
