Better than average for this music style

"Sha'abi music is not used as much as it could be by dancers in my part of the world, possibly because well produced sha'abi music is not readily available so this album was a good find. Saad has a singing style that's appealing and not too hard on Western ears and, importantly for me, as a teacher/choreographer of belly dance, I find the pace is just right to exercise the laid back sha'abi style without it being too plodding. As is often the case with albums, not all tracks would appeal to dancers but there are fortunately only a few on this album that I would skip over. I just wish that with all these albums produced in the Middle East for foreign markets they would include some desciptions of the songs. Hossam Ramzy does it, Emad Sayyeh also so I don't know why others can't."
