"I first heard Steve Carlson sing when he performed "Pinata Novia" live with Christian Kane in the UK. I had purchased that CD and was immediately intrigued - from one song. I started searching the net for more music and found his MySpace page, the Steve Carlson Band MySpace page, his personal site and his band website.



His music has a lot of different influences, including a number of 70's bands. You may be expecting a muddled blend of musical styles, but that's not the case. He's received great reviews from several music magazines for his work.



I downloaded the album (yes, legally! He's available on several legal music-sharing programs, including iTunes.) and I loved it so much, I want the physical CD as well.



My favorite song is still "Pinata Novia", but the title song "Spot in the Corner" is a heart-breaker as well. *WELL* worth the purchase price!
