A Great Band You've Never Heard Of

"Excellent album. For those who have never heard RMB and band, they are one part roots-rock, one part folk, and one part jam band. Truly a unique sound and great fun to listen to again and again. This album in particular has a good mix of slower, melodic songs ("Love and Love Lost", "Waiting") and many upbeat RMB signature songs ("75 and Sunny", "Maybe Today", and my personal favorite, "Grain of Sand"). You can definitely feel a great vibe from the band, and tell they had fun arranging and producing the record. I have been following RMB since he released his first album, "Stages", back in 2003 or so (also has some great classic songs, but is very hard to find on CD).
For those who are checking out RMB's other work, his solo album (Stages II) is good, but (in my opinion) Patience on Friday is more upbeat and vibrant. I own both, and if you're new to RMB, I think you'll like Patience on Friday better as a new listener."
