Russian Spy Camera is the music of Ryan White. He is the source for all of the songwriting, producing, and direction of the band, though the band is currently comprised of two members for live shows: White on guitar and Andy Turner on drums. Russian Spy Camera began in December 2004 in Athens, Georgia. It was simply a means of ?documenting? White?s growing list of songs and ideas through recording, all with hopes that someday other musicians would want to be apart of producing those recordings live. It serves as a platform for combining White?s eclectic, catchy songwriting with his involvement in many different art forms like graphic design, poetry, and photography. Shortly after some small demos were made, Russian Spy Camera was requested to play some live shows for WUOG 90.5 and with fellow bands, even though there weren?t any members in the band except Ryan! So in the Spring of 2005, he recruited Andy Turner to play drums based on his unique and innovative mechanical-like drumming style. Russian Spy Camera spent the remainder of 2005 playing many shows as a two-piece and recording their full-length album at Bel*Air Studios in Athens, Georgia.
