Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the 1984 debut album from the German Heavy Metal band. Gaining favorable interest, the band were offered to record their first full-length album for Noise Records and Gates to Purgatory was released at the end of that same year. With the band photographed surrounded by skulls and the satanic track titles, Running Wild began to draw comparisons to Venom and their ilk, when in reality they were more influenced by Judas Priest along with Kiss and AC/DC.
