CD ReviewsDazzling Performance of the Concertos Scriabinmahler | UK | 02/11/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Rubinstein plays both Beethoven & Saint-Saens Concertos with lavinshing tones and dazzling virtuosity. Villa-Lobos Prole do bebe was Rubinstein's show piece, and here he displays tour de force of piano playing. Two Chopin pieces are not at his best. Scherzo has an annoying moment where some audience, thinking the music is over (at 1:45!) start to clap and others say sheeeee! Concertos were recorded in 1967&57 Mono, but sound is tolerable if not up to the best standard of the time."
