Exellent though not as good as the Ace CD

"Since the Ace Rosco Gordon cd si s ohard to find, you'll have to settle for this cd, which has some of Gordon's finest Sun sides(though the Charly cd is more complete but harder to get). This cd features Gordon as a Amos Milburn/Louis Jordan style smooooth r&b/rock'n'roll blues singer, but what really distinguishes him from the Amos Milburn's and Floyd Dixon's is his amazing boogie woogie rhythms known as "Rosco's Rhythm", which is really appealing and rhythmic and almost ska like, by today's standards, yet totally boogie woogie rock'n'roll, complete with a wailin' sax sextions(with plenty of honkers!). this cd also shows Rosco's sense of humor. A great cd for jive dancers, as well as boppers."
