Synopsis

Album Description

Digitally remastered edition of the Irish guitar legend's 1975 album. Against The Grain has a superb acoustic take on a Leadbelly song, 'Out On The Western Plain' and Bo Carter's 'All Around Man' are nicely tucked in towards the end of this album. Against The Grain is, on the whole, a Hard Rock album heavily reliant on tracks with solid riffs but interspersed with slower tracks like the beautiful melodic 'Ain't Too Good' and the Boogie style 'Bought And Sold'.
