"The Looking Glass", co-produced by the band and veteran sound engineer Tony Van Hoorn (recorded Phil Ramone, Ray Charles, Rick Derringer, Southside Johnny), combines a surprising collection of tracks, each significantly different from the others. The complex musical progressions in each song are complimented by lead singer John Penola's introspective, yet ambiguous lyrics.
