"This album was the first I had heard from Ronny Jordan and I am definately hooked. He incorporates a lot of different styles in this album which I think is what made me go right out and get this CD. Whatever he did, he did it with style and grace."

"Iam one of R.J's biggest fans. I have loved his music since I first heard the Antidote back in 93. I have all of his releases and looking forward to the next. In fact if you are reading this Ronny hurry up."

"Reading alot of the reviews for this CD, the general opinion is that this is Ronny's best work. I liked this CD, fav cuts being Deep in your Heart: Homage, and my Favourite cut Light to Dark.I don't think this is his best work, as I feel that Off the Record holds that accolade."

"Ronny Jordan has always been a great jazz guitarist. With his unusual urban style, his take on the legendary Miles Davis's classic "So What" and his impressive guest work with Jazz-Rap Guru, Jordan is one of the shining stars of Jazz. Having heeard all his albums including his new one released last year, I can easily say taht Light To Dark is his best work. Best cuts would have to be Homage, It's You, Fooled and I see you. Even though he has seemed to move back to his rap-influenced beginnings, Jordan has a great deal of talent and will go even further than he already has."
