Thal, whose style is many times compared to the legendary Frank Zappa, takes instrumental guitar music into uncharted territories with this release.It's hard to categorize the type of music on "The Adventures of Bumblefoot" - I've never really heard anything that compares. If you aren't used to experimental music, chances are you won't like this album the first few times you listen to it, but if you give it a chance, it will grow on you.Thal is actually quite popular in Europe, and he has had some mainstream attention here as well - he is responsible for the rocking soundtrack on the Sony Playstation game "Wild Woody", and has been featured on instrumental guiatr compilations and popular guitar magazines.If you are a fan of instrumental guitar, this is a must-have album - his playing is right up there with Satraini, Vai, Morse and Hoey."
