"Simply the best Chaconne ever recorded on guitar. The Chaconne was written by Bach in memory of his deceased wife. It begs passion and emotive playing while requiring virtuosity only a handful of guitarists have ever had in the recording studio. Bream & Segovia fall short of Romero in this case. Listen for yourself. What a treat."

"You need no further proof that the prodigious and virtuosic can also be deeply personal. You will hear these works anew, and I defy you to not be moved by C. Romero's interpretation of Bach.
I ordered this CD because my painting teacher, the incomparable Sebastian Capella, did the cover portrait. The portrait is stunning, even in small size, and the music is transcendent.
Please buy this. You deserve it."
