"Is "Maximum House and Garage" as good as the below reviewers say it is? You bet. It's a nonstop party of tight, well-mixed grooves of house music featuring thumping beats, infectious basslines, and some vocals for well over 2 hours. If there's any CD that cements Roger's standing as one of the leading names in house, this is it. Disc One gets the mood right with the uplifting anthem "Can't Get Enough" by Soul Searchers; Twilight delivers a house interpretation of the Chic classic "I Want Your Love," and then there's my favorite track on the disc, "Everybody Dance" by diva Barbara Tucker. Tucker's jam isn't a cover of the Chic song of the same name, but rather, it's a near-flawless disco stomper equipped with a bassline that will have you hooked. On Disc Two, the better of these discs, we get "My Beat" by Blaze; an impressive Masters at Work dub mix of "Go Deep" by Janet Jackson; Roger's own remix of "High Times" by Jamiroquai, and "House Music" by Eddie Amador. There's not one loser on this disc, which is guaranteed to get any party started. While the price on this baby is steep, it's still a worthy investment for any dance music lover. Quite simply, house music rarely gets any better than this."
