"LOL.. The article I read below Ol boy from New York is straight hatin' and that's exactly what Rodney O & Joe Cooley is talking about.
Since I'm from Tx I have no reason to hate on any artists rather they're west Or east coast. Good music is good music...Period!
The F--K New York is indeed a funky CD and cannot be discredited.
Sure Rodney O is not a great rapper but he's not trying to be great...just heard. Rodney O had a message to deliver and that he did whether you liked it or not.
Give props to Joe Cooley cuttin' it up on the turntables. Joe Cooley is clearly one of the Top DJ's in his era. Listen To "Chase The Bass" and "U don't hear me tho". This cat is so damn funky with his beats.
I've always have cut for Rodney O & Joe Cooley every since The "Me and Joe" Lp in which I still consider there very best but F--K New York runs in a very close second.

"In F..ck New York the trio put out its best work since Me and Joe. The concept of the cd was ahead of its time and should stand as a classic underground release. The alblum is full of tracks to ride to and bob your head. Also, on this particular cd, Rodney O probably did his best work with the pen."
