"I've had the 12" single of Rappin Rodney since it first came out in the early 80s, and have been waiting 25 years for it to get mastered onto CD, so I was thrilled when I saw it was included on "Greatest Bits." Well, I don't know if a bad master tape was used--or a bad cassette! Yes, that's how bad the mastering sounds. The ENTIRE songs sounds like it's being played through a tunnel with a flange effect, there's bad tape hiss, and the end of the song completely truncates instead of fading smoothly. It ain't rodney who 'can't get a break' when it comes to this song on CD. It's the fans..."
