"Essence of the Game is an outstanding album. It is a VERY interesting album of hip-hop/ rap-core. Musically, .Rod Laver is not only talented, but passionate. Spiritually, they are very strong. I was able to go to one of their concerts, in Amarillo, TX, and was blown away. They are so focused spiritually that they can't help but put on a GREAT show. I don't know if I'll see many performances done better than theirs'. Very Good. Big Time!"

"This is one of the coolest bands that I've ever seen in concert! They have soooo much energy and the guitar player is pscyco! I don't like the spoken word track or the "ebony and ivory" song, but the rest of the album is way cool. My favorite is "franconia rd." Buy this cd!"
