Synopsis

Album Description
Golly Gee Records is proud to re-release the out-of-print and sold out "You Wanted More Wild Rock n? Roll..." We didn?t stop there though ? we added more than 45 minutes of recent live recordings by the band at the Annual Mooneyes Christmas Show 2002 where Ryan and the band performed for thousands of hot rod fanatics, greasers, hepcats and Southern California locals. Opening for Ryan was his special guest ? Rory Justice "The Rockabilly Kid". A 13-year old steeped in rockabilly since birth ? Rory holds tremendous promise for the future of rockabilly!

CD Reviews

Combines his 1st LP with some live shows with Rory Justice
Rock'n'Roll Geek | Nerdsville | 08/24/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This may be Rockin' Ryan's most essential release, because the 1st 12 tracks are from his 1st LP, whcich is 100% pure rockabilly/rock'n'roll, that sounds as if it could have been recorded in 1955! The remainder of the cd is taken from live shows, and the sound qaulity is just average, but listenable(soudnbs like radio broadcasts fro mthe 50's, unintentioanlly). Rory Justice "The Rockabilly kid" has a few solos numbers, and the whole cd is generally enjoyable. Among the highlights of the live songs are a boppin' "Rattlesnakin' Mama" and al lthe 1st 12 cuts from the studio session are exellent! A worthwhile cd for fans of vintage sounding rockabilly."
