Solid, hard-driving, traditional Chicago Blues.

"This CD features great postwar Blues guitar work from Rockin' Johnny, a young man who has spent most of his 20's slinging his Rickenbacker in juke joints around Chicago. This is 180 degrees away from the Stevie Ray Vaughn rocked-out pseudo-Blues. There is no Jimi Hendrix influence here. Johnny's guitar is clean, thoughtful, & melodic. He really makes that Rickenbacker talk. The three guest vocalists (Robert Plunkett, Tail Dragger & Sam Lay) are all west-side veterans who add a lot of flavor to this fantastic disc. Rockin' Johnny is also great to witness live."
