"From the insanely catchy one-two punch songs, "Middle" and "Born in '69" which kick off this album, Scream, Dracula, Scream is a blistering riff-crazy rock 'n' roll album like no other. The band barely slows down for "On A Rope," before kicking it back into gear with "Young Livers" and "Drop Out." This is a great party album. I think that what separates Rocket from other punk rock/emo bands (hate that term!) is the horn section that accompanies pretty much every song. It gives the band more variety in the kinds of songs they can do. This album is particular cool to have because it not only contains lyrics to all the songs but also contains the Hot Charity EP (or one version of it) which has also been re-released.Scream, Dracula, Scream is easily Rocket's best album to date and also their most accessible. They were almost on the cusp of mainstream break-out with this album but the fickle demands of the studios have banished the band to their own indie label, which, ironically has made them more prolific than ever!"
I'm in heaven

"Whether or not you're familiar with the unconditional love of Rocket From the Crypt, this is one to shell out the extra dough for. Not only do you get the sloppy wet kiss of "Scream, Dracula, Scream," you also get 90% of the now out-of-print "Hot Charity" LP - "Pushed," "My Arrow's Aim," "Shucks", "Cloud Over Branson", "Lorna Doom," and "Feathered Friends." Whether or not "Hot Charity" will be rereleased is a matter of some debate. Buy it buy it buy it."
