"This album starts with 3 powerful, tight songs and descends into filler territory immediately after. The rest of the songs meander pointlessly as if the guys forgot what was going on and couldn't remember why they were holding guitars in their hands. I give it three stars: one for each of "Middle", "Born in '69", and "On a Rope". Those three songs make this record worth checking out, but don't have too-high expectations."

"This is truly a great album. It gets better with every listening time. This is even better than the other albums (e.g. Circa Now or RFTC) althought they are very good too."
These guys are incredible.

"Rocket From the Crypt is an inredible musical talent. Certainly better than most so-called "alternative" rock. RFTC has got a truly original and catchy sound. This was their first album I heard by them, and I immediately fell for them. Rocket rox."

"I saw Rocket from the Crypt when they were opening for Rancid as well, back in 96 I suppose it was, in a claustrophobic club in Harrisburg PA. Never heard of em before, but man did they open my ears. They ripped up the joint and blew Rancid's set out of last century. My buddies and I snatched up everything we could find by these guys afterwards. I was going through my fuzzy old tape collection recently, and found this great "Scream Dracula, Scream" and popped it in the stereo. Still rollin..."
